Requirements:
Enrollment in higher education and/or training.
High school diploma, External Diploma (NEDP), or GED Credential.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Rhode Island Permanent Residency (green card).
Financial plan to pay college tuition, fees, books, etc.
Apply for financial assistance: FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Basic computer skills for college level work. (Google Suite, Internet; Email).
No financial debt or HOLDS on your account at the Community College of Rhode Island.
Application Process:
Attend a general information session to learn about TTC.
Complete an application form and writing sample.
Take the CASAS Academic Assessment ($25 registration fee).
Attend a personal interview to review goals, assessment scores, and commitment.
Pay $150.00 textbook and materials fee.
During the Program:
Complete CCRI Admissions Application, if applicable.
Attend all classes and workshops, which are currently virtual via ZOOM.
Complete all assignments, projects, and quizzes.
Accuplacer Assessment & casas Post Testing:
Accuplacer Assessment @ Woonsocket Learning Center ($40 testing fee).
CASAS Post Assessment (no fee).
Exit Interview:
Attend an exit interview with the Program Coordinator or staff member.
Register for classes at CCRI or other training.
Confirm FAFSA eligibility.
Register for Tuition Management Plan @ CCRI, if necessary.
